Among the oldest resort towns of Bali, Sanur keeps the landmarks of the heritage which has been a natural fusion of Dutch colonials and Balinese cultural tradition, Le Mayeur Museum and The Grand Bali Beach Hotel are to name some. When the wave of modern tourism development comes, Sanur expresses it in its own style, exclusively quiet and slow paced. However, it also has something for the younger fast-pacers, watersports. The greater Sanur has already been almost fully developed with tourism facilities. When Bali private villas become a new trend in the last decade, Sanur does not have much space to accommodate. The initial two miles of golden sandy beach has now extended by newly holiday developments at least at about ten miles to the East with growing developments of more Bali private villas in Sanur.
