Accommodation & Facilities

Sleeping area in Avalon has genuinely established into three main part, that is Master Suite, Guest Suite and Guest House. First to be introduced here is the Master Suite. Entering this room the guest shall goes through an elevated covered walkway on the Living area, bridging a water garden below. Not too hastily revealing the air-conditioned master suite in this part of the villa but in advance, will be welcomed by the air-conditioned Office/Sitting Room, complete with merbau wood floor, antique desk, chairs and original artwork on the walls. Then here it is the Master Bedroom as you entered it through another sliding door in this room. The room furnished with a canopied king-size bed, a splendid copy of an old Madurese Royal bed. It also equipped with a TV and VCD player. A vaulted wood ceiling and folding glass doors in this room open onto a wide wrap around slate-floored balcony, which allows guests to choose open air sleeping instead of air-conditioning coolness. The balcony itself is completed with cushioned day bed, rattan armchairs and a dining table for a private breakfast or lunch. This is also a wonderful spot for sunset cocktails.

Another installation in this Master Suite is its en-suite air-conditioned bathroom. The bathroom boasts a cream-colored marble floor, an abundance of wall mirrors, an oval-shaped terrazzo bathtub for two and twin marble washbasins. A toilet cubicle and a separate shower are each can be entered via frosted glass doors. The powerful overhead rain shower is complemented by a handheld shower. There is a large closet and dressing area with built-in wardrobes, drawers and plenty of storage space. A safe deposit box and mini-bar fridge are located in the dressing area.

Next is the air-conditioned Guest Suite located on the Ground level. Entering the room through a sliding door, welcoming you first in this room is the Sitting Room that could also reform into a Children’s Bedroom through changing its L-shaped sofa into twin beds, making this suite ideal for a family. The bedroom in this Guest Suite can be accessed through a sliding wooden door which separate it from the sitting room, or through doors opening onto the Terrace and Garden. The bedroom is furnished with an Oriental rug and a king-size, four-poster steel bed. Folding glass doors available in this room give access for the guest staying in this room to witnessing the magnificent view over the rice field, or else to widening their choice as them to feel open air sleeping experience. Equipped with a beautiful old cabinet that holds a TV and VCD player, this room also has a dressing area and en-suite bathroom follow the same layout and have the same amenities as the Master Suite. The wide wrap around white Palimanan stone terrace is furnished with an antique carved Timorese table and chairs for private dining, or just relaxing and viewing the rice fields.

Move further to the other part of this villa is the free standing Guest House, located on the far side of the living and dining pavilion on ground level. It can be reached from the Dining Room or by an outdoor staircase which leads from the Living Room. The bedroom in this Guest House is air-conditioned and features a soaring ceiling and a merbau wood floor. It furnished with a queen size, four-poster bed fashioned from carved teak, with exquisite white linens and mosquito netting; an antique cabinet housing a TV and VCD player with surround sound; a writing table and chairs. The same convenient just like other bedroom in Avalon, this guest house also has a white Palimanan stone terrace suit your private dining with garden and pool views. Then about the en-suite bathroom of this guesthouse that has already completed with a dressing area, fitted wardrobes, huge mirrors, and louvered doors could also giving you open air bathing experience as the glass door lead you to an oversize bathtub that is sheltered under the roof eaves, as it also accompanied by an outdoor rain shower for moonlit bathing.  The bathroom also completed with double marble topped vanity units support large glass washbowls, toilet cubicle and separate shower are each located behind frosted glass doors.

Surprising you in a unique way is the living and dining pavilion of Avalon. Designing distinctively to make the open-living area upstairs and the elegant dining area underground is what you will adore for this villa. The generous and open living room offer you with a sweeping vista of the pool, gardens and adjacent rice fields. Cooled by ceiling fans and natural ventilation, and characterized by an Indian slate floor and a soaring vaulted ceiling, the room is exquisitely furnished with cream leather sofas, chairs and bar stools. There is a polished granite party bar with fridge and sink, and a round table with chairs for intimate dining. The ground dining area in the other hand is located next to the pool terrace and is furnished with a three meter long table seats for ten, a sideboard along with a pair of 24-light standing candelabra. Guests also could enjoy cool alfresco dinner through the folding glass doors as the atmosphere also embraced by the water sounds emanating from adjacent ornamental ponds, waterspouts and bubbling urns.

Preparing all delicious dishes prepared by the chef is at the immaculate service kitchen where everything fully equipped and can be accessed through a timber bridge traverse a pond as it connected to the Dining area.

Much for your entertainment is Avalon Media Room that has been completed with a 32-inch LCD flat screen TV, VCD player and surround sound system. Entering the room, you need to go through the folding doors leading from the Dining Room. This comfortable room is furnished with two deeply-cushioned sofas, traditional batik cushions, a games table with Plexiglas chairs, and an innovative glass topped coffee table created by hand from coffee-wood branches. For those who like to read, the bookcases in this room is completed with Avalon books collection.

Everything is not complete yet in Avalon before you see the stunning 16 x 3 meter swimming pool that has a waterfall at one end, two infinity edges and marked by a relaxation pavilion. Besides the pool there has already 4 sun-beds for your tropical sun bathing favor. Another spot for leisure is at the relaxation pavilion, in which has equipped with a rustic table, a deeply cushioned rattan sofa and chairs. There is also a granite topped bar for serving at the back of it. Embraced by the expansive gardens of Avalon, it dotted with palm trees and white-flowering shrubs and trees. Open to the rice fields on one side with a view unbroken by walls or fences, the property expands its borders. The villa also has an enchanting water garden between the bedroom pavilion and the Living/Dining pavilion. The pond features white lotus and bulrushes, and is planted with white orchids and a frangipani tree on an island.
