Garden Villa
This villa has a modern Balinese style complete with pool and is surrounded by bamboo walls and a tropical garden. It has a king size bed with a fantastic view through a whole wall of glass doors which can be opened completely, and is leading directly onto this pool with sundeck and two double sun loungers. The limestone bathroom has a stone bathtub and half open air shower room. The Garden villa is part of the “Garden Residence”. It can be connected with the Timor house.
Timor Villa
Timor villa featured a large antique wooden house from the island of Timor. It has been completely renovated with modern features for optimum comfort. It has a master bedroom with four-poster king size bed and a separate living room that is big enough for a single bed. One side of the living room has doors that open onto a big sundeck with views over the lush tropical reserve and “The Purist villas” situated on the lower levels of the estate. A small path leads you directly to the huge main pool of THE PURIST. The bathroom has a covered outdoor area with a stone bathtub and separate shower.
River Villa 1
This villa in its size is identical with River villa 2. They both have a sophisticated minimal design and are decorated with Balinese artefacts and objects. River villa 1 has a king size bed. The ensuite circle shaped bathroom make you feel like you are in your own spa. One part is half-open . It has a separate shower and features a stone bathtub. The bedroom has its own sundeck with impressive views to huge palm trees.
A small river almost runs through a separate half-open living with lounge sofas, which may only be used by the guests of the two River villas. A small path is directly leading you to the huge main pool of THE PURIST
River Villa 2
This villa is in size identical to River villa 1, with a sophisticated and minimal design and also furnished with Balinese decoration of its artefacts and objects. River villa 2 has a king size bed, which can be changed into twin beds. The bathroom has an impressive half open air and round shaped shower . The bedroom has its own sundeck with views to huge palm trees.
There are also a small river which may only used by the guest of the two River Villas. This small river almost runs through a separate half-open living with lounge sofas. Then to lead you to the huge main pool of THE PURIST, a small path is available.
Jungle Villa
Jungle villas features modern Balinese style and is located on the other side of the main pool. It has direct access to the pool alongside the river running through the estate. From this villa you can overlooks the lush of jungle on the other side of the river deep below whilst heard the sound of the flowing water.
The villa has a four-poster king size bed and a royal bathroom featuring a small goldfish pond. This half open spa-like bathroom is an ideal place for guests who prefer treatments in the villa. Glass doors open onto a half open living. The bedroom has an extra sofa bed and can sleep up to three people.
Bamboo Villa
This villa has its own pool with a waterfall to the lower level where the Spa and Yoga buildings are situated. It comprises of a master bedroom with four-poster king size bed. It also has a small living area with an extra sofa bed. This is partly-separated from the bedroom by a bookcase. Therefore this villa can accommodate up to three people. On the other side of the pool is a Bale-like lounge and dining area, with a wooden sundeck between the Bale and the villa. The whole garden is surrounded by natural stone walls and lots of beautiful yellow bamboo.
Hill Villa
This big wooden antique house from the island of Timor has been completely redesigned and is laid out over two floors. On the lower level, there is grey pebble stone flooring and the walls are a mix of wood and beige limestone. Here you will find the twin bedroom which easily can be turned into a second bedroom with king size bed. This room can also be used as the perfect spot for a siesta as the room has glass doors which open up directly onto the pool area. The master bedroom is on the upper level and has a four poster king size bed.
The two rooms are connected by a five meter high living room with an “alang-alang” roof. This is a typical Balinese roof woven in straw. The two rooms share an indoor/outdoor bathroom with a stone bathtub and separate shower room.
The living room has glass doors on two sides opening onto a wooden sun deck with a covered dining area. As this impressive house is built on a hill, it has an open view but with total privacy created by the lush tropical garden.

Restaurant
A huge antique Yoklo (java house) with a typical wood carved ceiling is located by the reception. This yoklo is a half-open loft space of 14 x 14 meters. Dining takes place on comfortable sofas. Here you would also love to celebrate your wedding or family reunion, or to use it for classes or theatre & dance. If you wish to rent THE PURIST as a total, please contact the manager for further information.
Pool
A timeless seductive setting for those moments, when there is little motivation to move except to splash in the pool or add some more ice to your "mojito coctail" in the pool cafe. In this pretty cafe, you can also join the "AFTERNOON TEA" with sweets & snacks, which is offered to you daily at 4 pm.
Lobby
This is built in the style of an old rice barn. It is not an exact copy, but translated in a minimalist form with a labyrinth of teak wood beams placed on big river stones with a traditional constructed roof. There is an area to use the internet and a lounge to read books about the culture and architecture of Indonesia. The Front Desk Manager will be happy to inform you about the various day trips we offer with a private chauffeur and can share with you some of teh secret tips about the island.

THE PURIST is staffed by a carefully selected team of employee which full of experience and friendly at the same time they will do their best to make your stay in Bali a truly enjoyable experience. We offer a full staff service, and our team includes a villa manager, chef, and butlers. For your comfort and convenience the villa staff operates on a 24-hour shift basis.
