Four@Drupadi is a stylish villa complex for discerning travellers that is strategically located in the heart of Seminyak. It is within close walking distance to some of the most cosmopolitan dining and shopping venues that the island of Bali has to offer.

The main entrance into the property is an interesting contrast that suggests the element of surprise. A modern reception area and adjacent cardio workout room is orientated towards a traditional Balinese rice barn that houses a small library of novels and lifestyle publications.

The four individual villa compounds face a long stretch of manicured lawn studded with a handful of coconut palms. This provides an ideal environment for outdoor gatherings such as a private wedding or garden party.

A property that celebrates the spirit of tropical living, Four@Drupadi showcases four unique design concepts enveloped within a secluded compound complete with a private pool. Each villa takes on the theme from a different region around the world that is recognised for its strength, character and cultural identity. The four villa categories are named Amore, Youbi, Cinta and Pyaar – each means love which is the universal language for life itself.

Amore

Amore, this modern white distinctive home has a large garden and sleek furniture representing the lifestyle that meets the needs of the fun loving individual. Amore, european for love, has two well appointed bed rooms.

Amore is two-bedroom villa ensconced within the walls of a tropical compound to provide a welcome escape from the hedonistic pace of city living. It is a retreat that defines contemporary European design with its pure white décor creating a blank canvas for sporadic splays of vibrant colour.

Amore is accessed via an unassuming gateway that opens wide to reveal a modern interpretation of a decorative Balinese stone inlaid wall, which is locally believed to be a source of protection to deter spirits. The villa beyond is a two-storey structure with an abundance of full length doors and windows that seamlessly bring elements of the green garden inside.

An ultra sophisticated living cum dining space is located on the ground floor and also incorporates a spotless kitchen alcove. This comes in handy for guests who prefer to maintain their own dietary regime or to stock up on snacks and cold beverages for poolside consumption. Unusual light fixtures, multiple ceramic vases, and aesthetic artworks bring a personal touch into this predominantly white environment. During the day this entire area is bathed in natural lighting that filters through a glass skylight. But as evening descends it also captures the inky darkness of the star studded night sky.

The master bedroom is a sanctuary for the senses and follows the same bold décor of blue accents upon a white backdrop. A comfortable bed sits slightly below a unique glass panel structure that is lit at nightfall for a soft glowing effect. Ample wardrobe space is discreetly tucked out of the way and a luxury en-suite bathroom features a separate tub and outdoor shower recess.

An inconspicuous stairwell leads up to the second storey where there is a cosy niche beneath an elevated ceiling for optimal air circulation. A built-in bench seat is covered in coloured scatter cushions and at the opposite end is a low opium table rested upon a cowhide rug and a quirky light fixture.

The second bedroom is a tranquil space that evokes nights of restful slumber. A four poster bed with mosquito netting and crisp white linen lends itself to moments of intimacy, while the modern en-suite bathroom ensures that every bathing ritual is one of spa styled indulgence.

Outside a garden of blossoming flora and native greenery provides an obvious contrast to the minimalist lines of the villa. The pool is edged in creamy white stone pavers with a Grecian styled water feature sprouting a continuous flow into the shallow end. It is an area to lie back, relax and feel the penetrating warmth of the sun.

Youbi

The Japanese inspired home is called Youbi which relates to the word "LOVE". Youbi has two bedrooms and is designed with traditional authentic japanese decor dan garden In the pool area, Youbi has an "ONZEN", a traditional japanese hot bath tub.

Nestled within a secured garden compound, Youbi is a well appointed two-bedroom villa that offers sanctuary from the complications and stress of the outside world. Inspired by the Japanese flair for aesthetic harmony, it is a place to restore depleted energy levels and attain personal balance.

Youbi provides a feast for the senses with its mood enhancing interior. The living cum dining environment displays dark timber furnishings complemented by rich red cushions and ikebana styled flora arrangements. A kitchen alcove, with a bamboo inlaid breakfast bar, features all necessary appliances to prepare healthy snacks or entertain small social gatherings of friends.

The ground floor master bedroom is a private suite that exudes calm for quiet moments alone. Rattan blinds, drawn closed as protection from the intense heat of the day, permit individual rays of sunlight to gently spill across the futon bed. It is an uncomplicated setting that addresses all needs for personal comfort. An indulging spa styled bathroom has been designed to incorporate double vanity space, an outdoor shower and generous bathtub. A signature range of bathroom amenities and scented candles add a touch of unexpected luxury.

Youbi’s second storey overlooks an enchanting Japanese rooftop garden with white pebbles and potted bonsai shrubs. A separate lounge area with a cane sofa is the perfect spot to laze the afternoon away and catch up on some holiday reading. While a low table setting upon tatami matting can be used to play card games or serve afternoon tea.

The spare bedroom has also been designed as a private adult retreat. An oversized canopied bed made from chunky lengths of polished bamboo is adorned with plump cushions and freshly laundered linen. A discreetly hidden dressing area with ample storage space leads into the en-suite bathroom, which exposes contrasting black and stone work.

The garden and pool environment fully embraces the concept of healthy outdoor living. Native flora has been kept to a bare minimum to create a peaceful zen-like ambience. Long strips of bamboo have been used to heighten the outer boundary walls of the villa and enhance overall privacy. Matching sun-loungers are positioned in a far corner beneath the willowy shade of a local evergreen.

Cinta

Your balinese home is affectionately called Cinta, the Indonesia word for love. This three bedroom dual level home has great character and taste with extraordinarily beautiful interior works. Cinta also has its own billiard room.

Cinta is a stylish three-bedroom villa that embodies Bali’s cultural traditions and artistic legacy. Secluded within its own tropical compound, Cinta is a restful retreat for travellers to enjoy quality time out from the demands of modern living.

Access into the villa is via a private entrance that reveals the sound of water gently flowing into a lily pond. The open-plan living area is filled with sunlight and the sounds of nature. It is a place to wind down and appreciate the blessing of each new day.

A kitchen alcove filled with all necessary equipment and tableware is discreetly tucked away in a far corner. The dining table, which is literally a solid chuck of polished timber, is a social gathering point and lends itself to long evenings of social interaction with good food, conversation and chilled bottles of wine. A pair of intricately wood carved guardian statues watches over this setting with hands clasped as a gesture of warm hospitality. In another corner is a unique daybed positioned to overlook the serenity of the pond. Its cushions are covered in Bali’s signature black and white chequered cloth that symbolises the balance between the physical and unseen worlds.

The downstairs living area is a comfortable setting facing the swimming pool with locally handcrafted chairs and other visually appealing aesthetic pieces and artefacts. Here the ceiling cuts away to a mezzanine setting where a wrap-around traditional painting draws the eyes upwards. The delicate beauty of this kamasan style of artistry, which can also be seen in the 17th century Hall of Justice in Klungkung regency, adds a vibrant touch of colour.

Identical bedroom suites are located on the ground floor of the villa and showcase the spirit of Balinese workmanships. Canopied beds are placed beneath a feature wall of panelled timber that creates an interesting textured effect and complements all other furnishings. Each room has been designed as a nurturing retreat for nights of restful slumber. Exclusive en-suite bathroom facilities include a generous bathtub and outdoor shower.

Another living environment with timber floors and a high roof top is located upstairs and is open to embrace the elements. This area reveals a full sized billiard table that will provide hours of recreational fun for travellers of all ages. A giant four-poster daybed is orientated to capture the breeze and provides a quiet niche to read or take pleasure in a leisurely afternoon nap.

The master bedroom is a sanctuary for adults with its king sized bed, matching timber furnishings and colour scheme of earthy shades. A spa inspired en-suite bathroom features a separate shower recess, stone inlaid bathtub and nurtuirng amenities to ensure personal bathing indulgence.
